- nice to meet you! -

Micah and Sara Riesenweber: Lead Pastors

Micah and Sara planted The Vine Church in 2015. Micah was a youth pastor in the Tri-Cities for over a decade, and Sara taught elementary school. Micah grew up in the Tri-Cities, and Sara grew up on the mission field in Africa. They met in college and have been married since 2003. They have two active, happy daughters, Alyssa and Rachel. As co-pastors, they have a heart for building a safe community for people to gather and explore faith. They love the Tri-Cities and want its residents to experience the love and goodness of God. In their time off, you can find them camping, enjoying good coffee, and surrounded with family and friends.

Faye Serene: Vision Team

Faye Serene is passionate about Jesus, God’s Kingdom, and the present activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives. With a deep love for quilting, gardening, traveling, and capturing the beauty of God’s creation through photography, Faye finds joy in both the simple and profound moments of life.

She is blessed with a wonderful husband, Gregg, and a beloved son, Matt. Faye served as a pastor for 30 years, ministering in seven different churches across five states. In 2009, she returned to school to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has been in private practice since 2012, continuing her lifelong commitment to guiding and encouraging others.

Sally Martin: Worship Coordinator

After growing up in the Tri-Cities, Sally and her family spent five years in Mississippi, focusing on reconciliation work, worship, and prayer. She continues to combine her love for music, Jesus, and community to create worship experiences that are Christ-centered and authentic. Sally enjoys serving with the Vine Worship and A/V Team and helping plan meaningful times of connection with God and others through music.

Outside of church, Sally is a wife, mom to two awesome kids, a paraeducator, and the owner of two fluffy dogs. She loves walking with friends, visiting coffee shops and bookstores, thrifting, and going on adventures with her family. Sally brings a thoughtful, intentional spirit to everything she does, with a deep desire to lead in ways that encourage others to know God more deeply.

One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 1:1–3—a reminder of the steady, life-giving strength that comes from walking closely with God and being rooted in His Word, like a tree planted by streams of water, flourishing in every season..

Mike Motoda: Vision Team

Mike Motoda has been a part of The Vine church family since early 2023. Since making it his church home, he regularly plays bass guitar with the Worship Team, and is part of the Speaking and Vision Teams as well. He loves Jesus, his teachings, and the community that puts those words into practice through belonging, love, compassion, and understanding.

Mike grew up in Southern California, and works remotely for a Los Angeles-based video game company. In addition to playing games and bass, Mike also enjoys model building, spending time with his wife Tracey, family, and friends, and spoiling their dog Ruby Sue.

Tracey Motoda: Vision Team

Tracey Motoda has called The Vine her church home since April of 2023. She loves the Lord and His people. After earning a degree in Child and Family Studies, she worked in social work and mental health fields, but now finds her calling at a Christian ministry that cares for people impacted by disability with practical help and the saving love of Jesus.

While Tracey grew up in The Dalles, Oregon, since marrying Mike in 2008, they have lived up and down the West Coast, and also in Arizona. Tracey enjoys crocheting, and she loves exploring wheelchair accessible nature trails, especially in the forest… her peaceful place.
